Obituary of Delores Lillian Cusick

Delores Lillian Cusick, age 89, of Duluth, MN died peacefully on August 25, 2021 at the North Shore Estates in Duluth.

She was born on June 11, 1932 to Gustaf Gunner Gustafson and Lilly E. (Swenson) Gustafson.  She graduated from Denfeld High School.  Delores married Patrick James Cusick. 

She enjoyed playing bingo, and socializing with her neighbors & friends. Family meant everything to Delores, she will be dearly missed by her family.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick James; sons, Steven James and Alan Scott (Sherri Cusick); brothers, Norris, Russell and Reuben.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia; son, Michael; daughter, Carolyn (Michael) Christie; son, William; daughter-in-law, Leila Cusick; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At Delores’ request, no services will be held.  The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Essentia for their excellent care.
