Obituary of Timothy Patrick Case
Timothy Patrick Case, 60, peacefully entered eternal rest on Friday August 20th, 2021 in Duluth, Minnesota.
He was born May 3rd, 1961 in Duluth to Myron ”Sonny” Case and Lola Mae (Zebott) Case.
Tim spent his entire childhood growing up and going to school in Proctor, graduating in 1980. He was active in Alpine skiing and football while proudly earning his letter in both.
Upon graduation Tim moved to Island Lake where he managed the Sunset Lounge Liquor Store. He enjoyed the lake life by water skiing, boating and taking in the wildlife and seasons around him. Always having coffee ready for any visitor who frequented his life and home.
Tim went on to have a successful career working for himself in construction and the auto/diesel mechanic fields.
His passion for classic vehicles lead him to restore numerous vehicles including his prized 1936 Dodge Truck.
For the past decade or so, Tim would enjoy his winters in the Fort Myers and Naples Florida area. He continued to enjoy his passion for water skiing and enjoying the sunshine. He was always available to help his Florida friends repairing their vehicles or watercraft or any home repair they needed.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Tim is survived by his sisters, Terri (Case) Magdzas and her husband Dennis. Tamara Case-Belich and her husband Dan. Tim’s nephews, whom he adored, Eric Goeppinger, Nathan, Andrew and Ben O’Leary and Travis Magdzas. Tim also leaves behind his maternal Aunt Beverly (Zebott) Aspin Patterson and his paternal Aunt Janice (Case) Letavec. He will also be missed and remembered by his numerous cousins who reside from coast to coast.
Arrangements have been made through the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth. There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday September 8th, with a 2pm visitation and 3pm Service with Pastor Phill Hooper officiating. Due to recent state guidelines, masks will be required for all.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to his sisters would be appreciated.
