Obituary of Carol Jean Holt

Carol Jean (Uhde) Holt, 81, of Plymouth, MN.

Passed away Saturday, August 7th, 2021.  Carol was born on October 30th, 1939, to Richard and Selma (Maschke) Uhde in Little Falls, MN.  She was the ninth child of eleven children.  At the age of three she lost her father.  Lover of flowers, trees, birds, animals, nature in general and her grandchildren.  Some favorite pastimes were baking, especially Christmas cookies, going to her son Scott and daughter-in-law JoAnn’s cabin in Wisconsin, visiting her son Jeff and daughter-in-law Corrine in Anchorage, Alaska and going on different adventures with her daughter Kelly.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Selma (Maschke) Uhde; siblings Mildred (Thomas) Koland, Alvin (Doryne) (Gladys) Uhde, Clayton Uhde, Kenneth (Helen) Uhde, Henry Uhde, Florence (Uhde) Brastad and Donna (Uhde) Evenson.

Carol is survived by sons Jeff (Corrine) Holt, Scott (JoAnn) Holt and daughter Kelly Holt; grandchildren Mitch Holt, Kyle Holt and Kendra Holt; siblings Charles Uhde, Chester (Betty) Uhde and James Uhde; in-laws Geraldine (Strandburg) Uhde, Donald Brastad and Dennis Evenson; along with many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that your donations be directed to the American Heart Association.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 11^th, 2021, at Rosland Park Pavilion (4300 W 66^th St., Edina, MN 55435) from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.  A catered buffet-style dinner will be provided.
