Obituary of Stanley Peter Jurusik

Jurusik, Stanley P.

Age 65, of Rosemount, Minnesota (formally Elmira, New York), passed away August 3, 2021.  Preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Mary Jurusik.  Survived by his wife Patricia; daughters Samantha and Abigail; brothers Robert (Mary Lou) and Joseph (Lonny Phernetton); sister Jean Salter (Douglas). 

Stan worked for the Minnesota State Patrol, Capitol Security Division.  In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, woodworking, trains, and military history.

A special thank you to Dr. Richard Peterson and the staff at the Health Partners Regions Cancer Care Center as well as the staff at Saint Therese Senior Services at Saint Odilia. 

A celebration of Stan’s life will be held on August 16, 2021 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota located at 7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. a brief service, blessing and remembrance will take place followed by a serving of light refreshments.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Open-Door Pantry of Eagan, Minnesota.
