Obituary of Beverly Elaine Rowland

Beverly Elaine Rowland, 77, of Duluth, MN, passed away Thursday, July 22nd, 2021 from complications with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). She passed away in her home, with her children present.

Beverly was born March 30th, 1944, to Bernard and Pearl (Peterson) Torrence in Duluth, MN. Beverly graduated from Central High School in 1962. She worked for St. Louis County 26 years until she retired in 2006.

Beverly is survived by her children Barbara Bauman Pederson (Todd), Robert Bauman, and Bonnie Solberg; grandchildren Hailey and Corey (Kate) Solberg; Tanner, Taryn, and Taylor Pederson; great-grandchildren MacKenzie and Kason Solberg; her brother Richard Torrence (Joanne); and her cat Fluffy.

Arrangements by Cremation Society of Minnesota in Duluth.

Beverly will be buried at Oneota Cemetery in Duluth, MN.

In accordance with Beverly’s wishes, a service will not be held. Beverly requested that people remember and honor her in their own way, remembering all the good times they shared.
