Obituary of Kathleen Maureen McDonald

Kathleen Maureen McDonald, 37, of Superior, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was born on June 30, 1984, to Mary and Michael Welch in Eau Claire, WI. She was a graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School. She was an RN at St. Luke’s for 10 years. She married Jace McDonald on May 21, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mary McDonough and Michael Welch, her stepfather David Amundson, and her stepsister Stacie Miller.

Kate is survived by her husband Jace; 3 beautiful daughters, Ariana, Aubrey and Addison; her brother Patrick (Brooke); stepmother Linda Welch; stepbrother Greg Miller, stepbrother Todd (Renee) Amundson, stepsister Jennifer Amundson; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation: 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service Wednesday, August 4, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 410 Arlington Ave. in Duluth. Arrangements by the Cremation Society of MN.
