Obituary of Jacqueline Stevens Kennedy

Jacqueline Stevens Kennedy passed away peacefully on Monday, July 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her father, John Willard Stevens, her mother, Martha Gyr Stevens, brother Mark Stevens, all of Oshkosh, WI. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard; daughter Betsy Kennedy (John Blaine), granddaughters Anna and Katherine Blaine; son Dave Kennedy, granddaughters Audrey and Eleanor Kennedy; daughter Carrie Kennedy (Eric), and grandsons Kieran and Kyle Kennedy; brother John Stevens of Elkhart Lake, WI; and beloved nieces and nephews.
Jackie was born on March 15, 1939 in Fond du Lac, WI, and graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1957. She earned a BA in Social Work at the UW-Madison in 1961 and an MS in Counseling from the UW-Superior in 1989. Throughout her career and in retirement, Jackie generously helped children and families in numerous organizations in Superior, WI and the St. Paul area.
Funeral service will be Thursday, 7/29 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Reformation Lutheran Church, 100 Oxford St. North, St. Paul, MN, 55104. Visitation begins one hour prior and lunch following. Masks will be required.
Memorials can be sent to St. Paul-Reformation Church, and will be directed to the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center in St. Paul as well as the El Salvador Nahualapa Scholarship program at St.Paul-Reformation.
