Obituary of Donald Eugene Dunham
Dunham, Donald Eugene 90, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2021. Born to Coliver W. Dunham and Eva Irene Fischer on dairy farm in Stockton, Kansas on July 7, 1931, Don was a longtime resident of Bloomington, Minnesota. He is preceded in death by his older sister Doris Goodrick and brother Dale Dunham who died in childhood in 1929. He is survived by his loving wife Jeanette Dunham, sons Michael and Mark (Kathy) Dunham, four grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and beloved niece Victoria Bernal. He served in the US Air Force for four years before he married Jeanette Park in 1957. In 1978, he joined Bloomington Masonic Lodge No. 340 and became an affiliated member of Phoenix Daylight Lodge No. 350 in 2010. He was a cherished volunteer of the Minnesota Masonic Home for over 30 years and brought light and love to many. Don spent his career working for the City of Bloomington and was active in the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with his family and spent one of his best days fishing on Mille Lacs Lake. He leaves behind a legacy of the love of the outdoors for both family and friends.
A service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Edina Chapel located at 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, Minnesota. Visitation begins at 10am with a service starting at 11am with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Minnesota Masonic Home.
