Obituary of Dale M. Boline

Boline, Dale M. Age 94 of Minnetonka, MN passed away Monday, July 5, 2021. Dale graduated from Central High School where he made many lifelong friends. He joined the US Navy and was in training to become a pilot when WWII ended. He then attended Miami University in Ohio before getting married to Joan Chartier. He was an exemplary son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandpa, and great-grandpa and was deeply loved by everyone who knew him. He was one in a million, and a proud member of the Greatest Generation. He led a very active and engaging life that was full of adventure and laughter, and we were all blessed to have him in our lives. He was adored by each and every one of us, and will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Dale was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Joan (Chartier) Boline, and son-in-law Ron Bermel. He is survived by his children Glen (Kitty), Sue Bermel, Chuck (Ann), David (Polly), Patrick (Erin); grandchildren Ryan (Rachel), Sarah (Balázs), David, Emily, Benjamin (Natosha), Lucas (Annie), Brent, Katie (Dan), Jake, Joshua, Gillian, Aidan; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Jean (Ron) Berg, Jeanette Guzy, and many other family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 13th, 2021 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55419, with visitation 1 hour prior.
