Obituary of Lynn Dean Emberley

Emberley, Lynn Dean age 82 of Bloomington, MN passed away June 28, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, and will be greatly missed. Lynn was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on November 1st, 1938, to Geneva and Peter Emberley. He was a graduate of South High School and the University of Minnesota where he earned a bachelor's degree in industrial arts. He worked at Harold Chevrolet in Bloomington in the parts department for 30 years. Lynn was a lifelong Christian Scientist and enjoyed woodworking, traveling, golfing, cooking and most importantly, spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dennis and brother-in-law Chuck Boyce. He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Eileen, children, Daniel (MaryKay), Valerie (Andre) Wanzenried, Julie (Mike) Bliss, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson: brother Lee (Mary), sisters Kay Boyce, Rilla (Bucky) Freeburg, Margie Stone, sister-in-law Clare Emberley, sister-in-law Miriam (Loren) Jilek and many friends. Memorial service to be held on Saturday, July 17th, at 5:00pm at The Cremation Society of MN at 7110 France Avenue South, Edina. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service.
