Obituary of Ai Tram
Ai Tram, 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2021 after a two-year battle with Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). She was born on December 17, 1955 in Saigon, Vietnam.
Throughout her life, people were drawn to Ai’s funny, sassy, loving, and compassionate nature; whether she was with family, friends, or coworkers. She brightened any room with her presence and made the environment light-hearted with her witty jokes.
She also had a quiet strength of persistence that contributed to her being a breast cancer survivor and her fight with MDS. Despite it being a risky procedure, she received a bone marrow transplant on June 18th, 2020 to have another chance at life, which allowed her to live one year longer. Even though Ai had numerous health issues, she did not let that stop her from taking care of her family. She always prioritized others before herself and was truly selfless.
Ai enjoyed cooking, listening to Vietnamese bolero music, and spending time with loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Tong; her daughter, Tina; her mother, Nhi; her sister, Jung (Si); and her brother, Toan (Hue). Along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Vinh and her brother Hong.
She was a brave, strong woman and will be dearly missed.
Ai’s funeral service will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Brooklyn Park chapel on Wednesday June 30th from 1pm-5pm (7835 Brooklyn Boulevard Brooklyn Park, MN 55445).
