Obituary of Timothy M. Sather, Sr.

Timothy M. Sather Sr. Born 8/9/48 and left us on 6/14/21. He served three tours in the Navy during the Vietnam War, wrote the first operating system for Sperry Univac, and was on the teams that created the cockpit systems for the Space Shuttle and data communications for the International Space Station. He is survived by his wife Joanne, his three children, Laura, Tim and Jen (Brie), and 5 grandchildren (Frankie, Sarah, Kou, Dexter and Waverly). Services will be held on June 22, 2021 at Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina. Visitation at 5pm, services to follow at 6pm. Masks are required.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mayo Cancer Center are requested.  Casual travel attire preferred.
