Obituary of Terry G. LaForge

Terry G. LaForge, 68 of Lakeville died on Sunday, June 6, 2021 after a long illness.  Born on November 30, 1952, Terry is survived by his loving wife Lauren of 33 years, his mother Arlyne, brother Steve (Deb), sisters, Lynette, Beth (Marc Beckelman) and many, many other relatives. Proceeded in death by his father, Claire.  

He was a great fisherman and loved his fishing trips with the guys up North to Lake Kabetogama at Sandy Point.  He was also an avid hunter and enjoyed snowmobiling.  

He was a sergeant in the Marine Corps and served with honor and distinction in the Vietnam War. He was a standup kind of guy and there was nothing he wouldn’t do to help his friends.  

A service will be held August 10, 2021 at 11:45 a.m., assembly #6, at Fort Snelling.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to DAV.org.
