Obituary of Jeffrey L. DeMarais

At the age of 66, Jeffrey L. DeMarais “Jeff” suddenly passed away in Coon Rapids, MN on June 11th 2021. Jeff is survived by his 2 sons, Tyler (Steph) and Reed (Becky) and 5 grandchildren.  Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Marion and brothers, Chuck and Rick.   

Jeff was born on October 15th, 1954 in Watertown, MN to Marvin and Marion DeMarais (Brand). Jeff attended Anoka Senior High School, graduating in 1972. After graduation, Jeff spent numerous hours on the road as a Truck Driver.  This career brought him to Sysco Foods, where he spent 20+ years as a Delivery Driver. As the boys were young, Jeff enjoyed spending his free time coaching their sports teams, camping with family throughout the summers, golfing, darts, bowling, and tending to his immaculate yard.  In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids. Jeff deeply cherished his friends at Wedgewood and the summers by the pool.  

No funeral services will be held at this time, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
