Obituary of Kim Gilbert

Kim passed away on May 21st 2021.  She fought a courageous 13 year battle with ovarian cancer.
Kim was born on June 23rd 1960 to Phil and Judy Brunell. She was raised in Oakdale Mn along with a sister Cindy and 2 brothers Chris & Kurt. She attended Tartan High School. Kim married Al Gilbert on May 12th they had just celebrated 37 years of marriage.
They had shared many great times with family and friends vacationing and fishing. She also enjoyed relaxing in their backyard swimming ,watching birds and listening to music. Her son Shawn has given her the highlights of her life..3 grandchildren  Baylee , Asher and Tenley, who she adored and would do anything for.
Kim was a wonderful wife,mom,nana,sister,aunt and friend. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
A little interesting note that a friend passed on to us.
Kim passed away on the 21st day  in the 21st week  of the 21st year  of the 21st century.
I’m sure she is smiling down on all of us.
