Obituary of Janice Marlene Boyer

Janice Marlene Boyer (George) , 83 of Brooklyn Park, MN went to be with her Lord and Savior May 13, 2021.

Jan was the daughter of John P. George and Ella (Ronning) George, the 7th of 9 children.

She grew up in Woodstock, MN, California, and back in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended schools in all three areas.

Janice married Dale Boyer in 1958. They had one daughter, Cynthia of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Janice worked at various jobs throughout the years and finally retired at the age of 70. She volunteered diligently for the DFL party of MN and acquired many good friends in doing so. Jan was a devout Christian and enjoyed volunteering for the church.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings: Betty, Don, Harold, Shirley, and Jackie.

Jan is survived by daughter, Cynthia of Brooklyn Park,MN; ex-husband, Dale Boyer of AZ; siblings, Wally (Darlene) of Crystal, MN, Bill (Linda) of OK, Margaret of Alaska; sister-in-law, Peggy of CA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A special thank you to friends, Bonnie, Kathy, and Mark and aunts, Nancy and Darlene for their kind support.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM, Wednesday, May 26 at St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Avenue N, Brooklyn Center. Rosary will be said at 10:30.

Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
