Donald L. Hansen

Age 83 of Bloomington passed away May 7, 2021. Born in Minneapolis. Graduate of South High School (1955). Retired from 4th Northwestern National Bank, Mpls. After retiring, Don started his own sign making business, Bloomington Budget Sign Shop. Don loved relaxing and family get togethers at their cabin on Bass Lake in Ideal Corners. Throughout the years, Don and Carol had many pups; all of them were lucky to have Don as their "dad" who loved them all greatly. Preceded in death by brother, Big Jer; parents, Harvey and Elsie. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol; children, Dave (Karla), Michael, and Sandy (Brad) Cregan; granddaughters, Emily (Casey) Millette and Sarah (Adam) Mateen; great grandchildren, Ronin, Maeve and Rheia; sister, Dorie (Larry) Grady; sister-in-law, Kathy Hansen; brother-in-law, Rich Hedlund; nieces, nephews and their families; other relatives and friends. Memorial Service Monday, May 17th, 2:00 pm with visitation starting at 1:00 pm at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. South, Edina, MN 55435. At Carol's request, please wear casual attire and your mask.
