Obituary of Leon Hulke

Leon Hulke – (86) of Blaine, MN was born May 15, 1934 in Mason City, IA and passed away from heart failure March 30, 2021 with family by his hospital bedside.

Preceded in death by brother Howard and twin brother Lyle.

Survived by beloved wife of 64 years Donna Hague (whom he married in January 1957 in St. Louis Park, MN), daughter Jeanne (Barry) Bergeron, son Steve (Sharon), grandchildren Bryan (Antje) and Caitlin (Adam) Scherff, and great grandchildren Camden Scherff and Sophia Hulke.

Leon perfected his musicality on his stand-up slide steel guitar and electric keyboard. He enjoyed listening to “old” county-western music and playing Keno. He had a creative mind and artistic sign painting skills. He was a good husband, a good father, and a good man.

Celebration of Leon’s Life on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm in the community room (masks required) of Northview Villa Mobile Home Park, 1306 95th Lane, Blaine, MN.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are preferred.
