Beloved & dedicated Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather & Great Grandfather began his journey into the next life in the care of Jesus Christ on Jan 6 2021 at the age of 83. He joins his Heavenly family: father Albert Hustings, mother Florence Hustings (Garofalo), brothers Michael, Paul, David, sister Rosemary (Thill). He is survived by brother Duane, sisters Patricia & Barbara, wife Karen Hustings (Anderson), children John (Lisa), Colleen Larson & Kevin (Alana). Grandchildren Joshua, Jessica (Tony) Siebenaler, Breanna, Kalysta, Autumn & Colten. Great grandchildren Mason, Kaidon, Wyatt & Teigan. Gary loved his children & his grandchildren more than anything and enjoyed spending time with them. Gary was devoted in his 58 years of marriage; always finding ways to do the little things to make Karen smile. He dedicated 38 years working at 3M, mainly in Mag Products. He maintained many friendships after, coordinating ongoing group lunches. Gary served his country with great honor in the Army. Always a camera (or 2) in hand, Gary was passionate about taking photos, reading, collecting stamps, fishing, computers, spending time with family & traveling with Karen. He loved the beach along any ocean and never met a gadget he didn’t like. We will cherish his many photos & detailed written memories of our journey together. His love and friendship will be greatly missed. Bon voyage, until we meet again. Gary-Dad-Papa will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery later in the year. Contact john.hustings@gmail.com to be notified of that service. We would like to thank the nurses & doctors at United Hospital for their compassion & kindness in this difficult time.
