Loiann Carolyn Frank

Age 68, formerly of Alexandria, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Home in Sauk Rapids, MN. Loiann was born June 4, 1951 in Alexandria, MN to Eugene and Theresie Nasstrom. She grew up on a farm near Hoffman, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Lands Lutheran Church in Hoffman and graduated from Hoffman High School in 1969. She was active in many activities and especially enjoyed playing drums in the band and singing in the choir. After high school she attended Wahpeton State School of Science and received her LPN degree. She worked as a nurse at several hospitals and nursing homes in Minneapolis and Alexandria. On December 13, 1986 she married Elroy Frank in Alexandria, where they lived most of their married lives. Together they enjoyed traveling and entertaining friends and family. She will be missed by her loving husband of 34years, 1 month, and 4 days. All who knew her will miss her bright smile. Loiann is survived by her husband, Elroy of Waite Park; sister, Ione (Gary) Bruns of Morris MN; brother, Donavon (Janice) Nasstrom of Barnesville MN and many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Elroy and nephew, Bradley Bruns. Celebration of Loiann's life and interment will be held in Spring of 2020.
