Obituary of Albert Lopez

Albert Lopez, age 83, of Duluth, MN, formerly of Canyon and Silver Bay, MN, passed away on November 23, 2019, at Keystone Bluffs in Duluth, MN.

Albert was born in Ironwood, MI, on March 27, 1936 to Louis and Mary Lopez. Albert attended school in Hurley, WI, and graduated from Ironwood High School. He attended college at University of Wisconsin, Superior. 

Albert worked at Reserve Mining Company in Babbitt and Silver Bay and at Labounty Manufacturing in Two Harbors.

Albert is preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Lopez (married 1956-2014) and his wife, Jenny Hanson (2017-2019), his brother Anthony, sister Mary Lou, and his grandson Benjamin Rogers.

Albert is survived by his children: Susan Knudson (Charlie), Brenda Larson (James), Jill Rogers (Richard), Gretchen Olson, Roxanne Lopez, Alyson Lopez, Rachel Roslin (Bill), and Matthew Lopez (Courteney), 25 grandchildren, and 22 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 26th, at the United Protestant Church in Silver Bay, MN at 12:30pm and a memorial service at 1:00pm.
