Obituary of John Craig Dunlap

Dunlap, John Craig age 60, of Forest Lake, passed away October 22, 2014. John is survived by daughters Morah McGovern of Burbank, California and Katherine Dunlap of St. Paul. Siblings include Jane Hansen (Fred), E. Todd Brown, Robert Dunlap (Chrissie) and Mary Dunlap. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many close friends. John was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Jane Dunlap. John enjoyed a career as an attorney where he practiced personal injury and criminal defense work at the firm of Dunlap and Ritts in Minneapolis. He was an avid golfer with an admirable handicap. John was co-founder and co-owner of Tanners Brook Golf Club in Forest Lake, where he spent many hours sharing his passion for the game. He will be remembered for his unending sense of humor, compassion and mentorship for many. A celebration of his life will be held at Tanners Brook Golf Club at a later date.
