Obituary of Robert William Kaiser

Kaiser, Robert William "Bud" Age 97, of Lakeville, formerly of Bloomington, peacefully passed away on Nov. 5, 2014. Bud was born in La Crosse, WI on April 25, 1917 and raised in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Served in the 15th Army Air Force as a Tech. Sgt. aboard B-17 Bombers during WWII from 1942 - 1945. Married Jane Witte June 19, 1947. Owned and operated a service station on 34th and East Lake St., Mpls. for 22 years. Retired as a foreman for Ritchie Engineering, Bloomington. Loved his grandchildren, gardening and walking the beaches in Florida. Preceded in death by wife, Jane; sister, Dolly. Survived by sons, Dennis (Nannette) and James (Patty); grandchildren, Jennifer, Kris (Lisa), Robbie (Kristal), Ricky (Holly), Ryan, Angela and Julia; 11 great-grandchildren. Memorial service at 7 PM Friday, Nov. 14 at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina (952-924-4100). Visitation 6 PM. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. He will be remembered as the most caring, gentle and understanding husband, father and grandfather.
