Obituary of Thomas Lloyd Tucker

Thomas Tucker passed away on March 23, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospice in Duluth, MN with his family by his side. He was born January 4, 1939 in Duluth to Lawrence and Dorothy Tucker. He graduated from Denfeld High School in 1957. Thomas served in the Army and National Guard. He married his high school sweetheart Donna and they had fifty-eight years together. Tom joined the Duluth Fire Department and was a firefighter / EMT for thirty-one years. After retirement Tom and Donna built a country home in Lake Nebagamon, WI. With nature all around them they lived happily feeding the birds and watching the beautiful wildlife. This caring man will be so greatly missed by his loving wife Donna, his brother and best friend Larry (Mary) Tucker, of Richmond, TX; his four children, Tim (Dana) Tucker, of Cloquet, MN; Kristine Marrone, of Duluth, MN; Tony (Corrine) Tucker, of Forest Lake, MN; and Kimberly (Michael) Morris, of Long Island, NY; his four grandchildren, Brooke Tucker, Tyler Vega, Jake Tucker, and Logan Morris along with many nieces and nephews; his brother-in-law, Frank Puglisi and sister-in-law, Oral Puglisi, of Casselberry, FL; his cousins and life long friends, Bill (Kay) Bushey, of Duluth, MN; and Vance (Darlene) Bushey, of Duluth, MN. Family and friends will be gathering to share memories and celebrate his life on Saturday, April 7, 2018 for 10am - 12pm at First Memorial-Funeral Chapel 4100 Grand Avenue, Duluth, MN 55807. The family would like to thank Dr. Sanford, Dr. Krog-Breeuwer, Dr. Basem Goueli and the St. Lukes staff for the excellent care they gave Tom during his hospitalization.
