Obituary of William D. Beard

Beard, William D. (Bill) Age 84, of Lilydale, passed away November 14, after a 2-year battle with ALS. Bill was a businessman and owner of American Alloys Corporation in West Virginia prior to his retirement in 1996. He was married to his wife, Montez for 64 years. They enjoyed traveling the country in their motorhome during his retirement years. He was a wonderful husband, father, friend and veteran who served our country in the Korean War. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. Survived by wife, Montez (Dodson) Beard; daughters Rachel (Mike) Ryan and Rhonda Baldwin. Memorial service Sunday, November 23rd at 2:00 PM at the Lilydale Senior Living Community, 949 Sibley Memorial Hwy, Lilydale, MN 55118. Memorials preferred to the ALS Association.
