Obituary of James A. Hare

James A. Hare, 61, of Ashland, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital with his family by his side. James was born in Silver Bay, Minn., on Feb. 23, 1957, to Charles and Arlene (Vaughan) Hare. He spent the majority of his working career at Reserve Mining. James loved his family above everything else and cherished the time he spent with them. He will be truly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by his daughter Jennifer (James) Eliason and sons, Gregory (Tina) and Daniel (Emily); grandchildren Isaac, Declan and Kaden; brother Keith (Cathy); sister Tammy L’allier; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to St. Luke’s cancer center and the nursing staff on two west for the extraordinary care they provided. A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018, at the AmericInn Lodge & Suites (meeting room) 150 Mensing Drive Silver Bay, Minn.
