Obituary of Edwina Clavey

Clavey, Edwina (Turcotte) Age 83, of Brooklyn Center, formerly of St. Augustine, FL, passed away peacefully to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family on Dec. 6, 2014. She was gifted as a teacher while serving her Lord as a Catholic Nun in ME, MA, Quebec, and TN. Upon leaving the convent, she met and married Coy in 1962 and preceded her in death in 2006. Edwina was gifted as a perfectionist in everything she did. She was a great sister, aunt, and friend. She rarely passed someone without an acknowledgement by a word or smile. Her sense of humor and fun always made you laugh. Her faith and love of God permeated her life and all around her. She is preceded in death by sisters, Mary Saucier, Loretta Theriault, and Mable Theriault; brothers, Rene, Orel, and Romeo. She is survived by her loving cat, Last Chance; sisters, Jeannette (Ted) Leduc and Joan Marchione; two brothers, Alfred and Rudolph. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave. N., Brooklyn Center on Dec. 15, 2014. Visitation will begin at 10AM with a service at 11AM. Interment at Fort Snelling will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Alphonsus.
