Obituary of James Bernard Peterson

James Bernard “Jimmy” Peterson, 65, of Duluth, died at his home on December 6, 2014. Jimmy was born in Duluth, MN on August 25, 1949 to Elmer and Bernadette (Beutel) Peterson. He was a graduate of Denfeld High School. Jimmy was kind hearted and generous. He was known for helping the seniors throughout the neighborhood with their snow shoveling and lawn mowing. Jimmy found great enjoyment in watching sports on TV such as wrestling, football and baseball. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Joanne Peterson. James is survived by his sister Beverly (Ken) Rogowski of New Baden, IL; brother Dick Peterson of Denver, CO; niece Kris Anne Becker of IL; 3 nephews, David Rogowski of AZ, Steven (Becky) Rogowski and Kenny (Laura) Rogowski of CO. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 pm on Thursday, December 11, 2014 in Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN.
