Obituary of Geraldine M. Baukol

Baukol, Geraldine M. (nee Corcoran) Geraldine Margaret Baukol, age 77, of Mpls, died peacefully while surrounded by loved ones on December 12, 2014, after a brief and courageous struggle with cancer. Geraldine was born April 30, 1937, the daughter of Thomas Henry Corcoran and Patricia Chapman. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack Harris Baukol, brother James Corcoran, and sisters Frances Leaf and Patricia Loehr. After graduating from Minneapolis South High School, she moved to Bloomington where she spent the rest of her life. Geraldine lived life to its fullest, loved traveling (especially Mexico and Ireland), and everything Irish. She treasured time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was vibrant and social - voted best personality in high school and, during her career in restaurant serving, won Bloom-ington's Diamond Service award while in her sixties. Geraldine is survived by sister Constance Krezo (Richard); brother Thomas Corcoran (Cheryl); life friend George Klima (Vicki); children Timothy Klima (Celeste), Catherine Klima (Ben Higdon), Thomas Klima (Fonda Snow), Jake Baukol (Wendy); grandchildren Kathleen, Cameron, Kayla, Callie, Abby; and many relatives and close friends. We love you mom. A Celebration of Life will be held in early 2015. Announcement to follow.
