Obituary of Cecilia Cofield

Cofield, Cecilia "Mae" Age 88, of Edina, passed away on Dec. 13, 2014 at Ebenezer Care Center. Born on Nov. 29, 1926 in Lead, SD to Clarence and Amanda Eixen-berger. When WWII began, the family moved to Renton, WA to do their part in the defense plants. Mae worked at Boeing Aircraft. Shortly after that she moved to Mpls. and was a longtime dedicated employee of Sears, Roebuck & Co. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; 1 brother; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Survived by Florence Opsahl; nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews and many special friends. Service 2:30 PM Thursday, Dec. 18 at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina (952-924-4100). Visitation 2 PM. Memorials preferred to Grace Church Missions, 9301 Eden Prairie Rd., Eden Prairie, MN 55347 or to donor's choice.
