Obituary of Owen L. Plauda

Age 80, of White Bear Lake Passed away on December 13, 2014 Retired Art Teacher of 36 years with the White Bear Area School District. Preceded in death by wives, Marian Plauda and Joan Dunbar Plauda. Survived by daughters Leslie (Mike Pennaz) Plauda, Wendy Plauda, grandchildren Kyle (Krista) Hubbs and Eric Hubbs, Matt (Jessica) Pennaz, Bryan (Jane) Pennaz, Stephanie (Michael) Zeece, Taylor and Evan Dunbar. Brother Dan (Mary Anne) Plauda. Nieces and nephews, great grandchildren (Carson, Logan and Nora). Owen had a great heart for teaching, and was beloved by his many former students, and fellow teachers that became life-long friends. A celebration of Owen's life will be held at 11 am on Friday December 19, 2014 at the WBL United Methodist Church. Visitation 1 hour prior. Memorials preferred to WBL United Methodist Church where Owen and Marian were charter members.
