Obituary of James R. Larsen

Larsen, James R. "Jimbo" Age 90, of Plymouth, MN, passed away on December 20th, 2014. Survived by his devoted, loving wife Phyllis of 69 years; children: Cindy (Dean), Craig, Jody (Pete); grandchildren: Tim, Pam, Brian, Paul, Zach, Heidi, Chelsea; 4 great-grandchildren. Class of 1942 Minneapolis Central High School. Proud Veteran of WWII United States Navy. University of Minnesota graduate Engineering/ Drafting. Employed 36 years as draftsman for Hennepin County Surveyors Office. Dedicated supporter of Golden Gopher football for 60 years. Avid golfer and sports enthusiast. Loved spending winters in Sun City West, AZ home. He was a beloved husband, father, grand-father and his warm, outgoing personality will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held at Cremation Society of Minnesota Edina Chapel, 7110 France Ave S. on Tuesday, December 30th; visitation at 9:30 am, Service 10:30 am.
