Obituary of Irene Jo Spaniol

Spaniol, Irene Jo, age 98 of Farmington, MN. Passed away December 20, 2014. Family and friends meant everything to Irene. She celebrated her Norwegian heritage through art, cooking and Norwegian rosemaling, studying in Norway many times. She was active in the Presbyterian church sewing group for years making quilts, clothing, etc. for those in need. A game player of all sorts, she had a competitive spirit- loving to win. She was a wonderful cook-baking was her specialty and also a world traveler with an adventurous spirit. Preceded in death by husband of 55 years Cyril; infant daughter Mary Lou; daughter Patty Jo. Survived by daughters Peggy (Chuck) Steadman and Pam Woods; son-in-law Gerald Kleve; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
