Obituary of Glenda K. Warren

Warren (Standefer), Glenda K. Age 53 of Victoria, MN, passed away December 22, 2014 after a courageous 2 1/2 Year battle with breast cancer. Preceded in death by her father, Clyde Standefer. Survived by husband, Kevin; son, Derik; daughter, Marissa; mother, Ruth Standefer; and brother, CJ Standefer. Glenda was born in Hinsdale, IL, grew up in Dyer, IN and graduated from Lake Central High School in 1979. She then worked at Ribordy/Walgreen Drug Stores, followed by being employed as an Office Manager/Physician Assistant for a Podiatrist in Highland, IN. Glenda and her husband married in 1985 in Kauai, HI and lived in Griffith, IN before moving to Medina, OH in 1992 and then several other areas over the years before settling in Victoria, MN in 2011. After moving to Ohio, Glenda worked as a Marketing Rep. for Disney until having her first child, Derik, in 1996. She loved raising her children and creating a cozy home for her family. She volunteered at her children's school and was a Girl Scout Leader. Glenda also enjoyed shopping for her family and friends and saving animals. We are all blessed to have been touched by her tender spirit and we miss her immensely. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Glenda's life in a memorial service on Saturday 1/3 at 11 AM, followed by a hospitality luncheon at 12 Noon; Crossroads Assembly of God, 10220 Wooster Pike, Creston, OH 44217, 330-435-4330.
