Obituary of Marion Caroline Carey

Marion Caroline (Newman) Carey, 82, passed away peacefully on Jan. 1, 2015, at St. Lukes Hospice Care. Marion was born on Oct. 26, 1932, Duluth. Marion loved her family, friends and country music. She enjoyed traveling, crosswords, parties, Red Hat Ladies and her favorite, "The Country Show" at Solway Town Hall. She is preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Margaret Newman; children, Tommy Bianchet and Rita Igwe; husbands, Raymond Bianchet and Robert Carey. She is survived by daughters, Lin (Randy) Krohn, Cindy Jewell, Debbie (Lester) Mattison; son, Ronnie (Lynda) Puckett; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Spoden; brothers, Ed and Richard Newman; and her dear friend, Charlie Puckett. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 7, 2015 in the Billings Park Civic Club, 3903 North 18th St., Superior, Wis., will be held per her wishes.
