Obituary of Thomas Joseph Penners

Penners, Thomas J. Age 82, of Bloomington, died January 2, 2015. Tom passed away in his home after a short yet courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and his wife of 50 years, Carol. He is survived by his children: Deb & Dan Austin, and Bill & Kelly Penners. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Ryan, Shonna & husband Michael, Joe & wife Marissa, and John, and four great grandchildren: Andrew, Gavin, Aiden, Aubree, with another great-granddaughter on the way. Tom will be remembered for his strong work ethic, quick wit, and friendly banter. A memorial will be held on Friday, January 16th at the American Legion in Savage, MN. Visitation from 11 am-12 pm and service at 12 pm. Memorial gifts to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
