Obituary of Patricia Marjorie Priley
Patricia Marjorie Priley, 88 of Duluth, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 with her family by her side
She was born in Duluth, Jan. 24, 1926 to William and Gladys (Campbell) Berg.
She married Jack Wesley Priley on Jan. 29, 1949.
Patricia's proudest achievements were her children; she was a devoted mother and grandmother and always excited to spend time with family. She loved her social life too - Patricia was never idle and could be seen, decked in a coordinated outfit, enjoying friends and family; always ready and eager to participate in outings. She enjoyed theatre, day trips to regional destinations as well as regular luncheon and happy hour gatherings with family and friends.
Patricia was generous in every aspect of her life and an active volunteer. She gave many hours to the Salvation Army ringing bells and helping with gift distribution during the Christmas season. She also worked at the Rainbow Center and Goodwill in Duluth.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and brothers, Clarence and William Berg. Her husband of 20 years, Jack Priley, died July, 2003.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Nicolaison and six children: Billie Jean Priley, Jan (Ross Litman) Zigich, Leslie (Lee) Youngblom, Jack Priley, Jowain (Larry) Wallin and James (Jody) Priley; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, with a service and light lunch to follow in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Duluth
