Obituary of Theresa Jane Otto

Theresa Jane Otto, 68, of Cedar Rapids, IA, died peacefully on January 17, 2015 in her Plymouth, MN residence, after a struggle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her elder sister Helen, her parents and her husband, JC Otto, of 38 years. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Jolly) Otto and Tony (Russ) Otto; two grandchildren, Kirstin and Jayden Otto; her sisters, MaryAnn (Ev) Kelsey, Pat (Paul) Anderson and Kathy (Ken) Webster. Theresa was born September 22nd, 1946, in Moline, IL. She was the third daughter to the late James and Jenny Danehy of Cedar Rapids, Ia. She graduated from LaSalle High School and worked in the banking industry before meeting and marrying her husband JC on June 22, 1969. Theresa enjoyed spending time with family and friends and often traveled to see all. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at SpringHouse Ministry Center, 610 W. 28th St., Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Open Arms of MN (openarmsmn.org) or Women of Nations (women-of-nations.org).
