Obituary of Eleanor Janet ‘Gran’ Caputa

Caputa, Eleanor J. (Gran) Admired by some, loved by all, at the age of 98, Eleanor J. Caputa (Gran) left us on Wed., Feb. 4th, 2015 to join the love of her life, Frank Caputa Jr. From the 1936 Northern Oats Co. Sit-down Strike, traveling via Paddywagon to the jail, to a Rhythm & Blues show at 1st Ave at 86 years old, she had a smile on her face that stretched from here to the moon. She radiated joy & was a "Gran" to anyone that met her. She was the founding member of the "Manitoba Twins" & from the dance parties in the basement to her card club to the "Sewing Club" that fished in 'Alec' each summer, she was the light of every occasion. She is survived by her loving son: Gerald & her grand-daughters: Sandra de Mercedes & Christa. Dance on Gran Gramps, Mama Jere' and Heaven's Big Band await. You are extraordinary and we love you! Memorial service to be held at the Church of the Holy Cross, 1621 University Ave NE, Mpls, MN, Tuesday, Feb 10, 2015, 9:30 AM greet, 10:30 AM service. Luncheon to follow.
