Obituary of Carol Joann Stevens

Carol "Sissy" JoAnn Stevens, 83, lifelong resident of the Duluth area, joined her loving husband on his birthday, Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015. She was at her home with her family at her side. Carol was born Dec. 22, 1931 in Duluth to Clarence and Pearl O'Bey. Carol first and foremost loved her family. She enjoyed knitting, making ceramics, gardening and bird watching. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Stevens; her parents; and her sister, Lorraine Stabs. She is survived by her daughters, Diane (Ken) Kuechler of Duluth, Susan (Chris) DelPriore of San Diego and Joni Dorfman of Superior; grandchildren, Marc (Janelle) Langdon, Kevin (Rian) Langdon, Jamie (Josh) LaRiccia, Andrea Dorfman and Cullen Dorfman; five great-grandchildren; and her brother, Rodney (Peggy) O'Bey of Duluth. The family would like to thank the St. Luke's Hospice Staff for their exceptional loving care and support to the whole family.
