Obituary of Margaret Ronan

Ronan, Margaret (McNeil) Age 105, of Edina, MN, died March 10, 2015 at her home. Marg was born December 9, 1909 in Eldora, IA to Fred and Agnes (Moore) McNeil, one of six children. Her family moved to Mason City, IA where Marg spent her formative years. In 1929 she moved to Decorah, IA and was a resident there for 65 years. Her family owned McNeil’s Coat and Suit Store. Marg worked for McNeil’s and managed Seifert’s for 18 years. In September of 1931 Marg was united in marriage to Leo Patrick Ronan and they had three children. Marg was preceded in death by husband, Leo. She is survived by children, Mary Pat, Michael and Terry and their families. A private family interment will be held at St. Benedict’s Cemetery.
