Obituary of James Edward Bartl

James Edward Bartl, 87, of Duluth, Mn passed away Friday March 13, 2015 surrounded by his family. Jim proudly served in the US Navy in WWII & upon his return he married the love of his life Mary T. Reindl, she preceded him in death 2010. Jim enjoyed a career with the St. Louis County Sheriffs Department and on the St. Louis County Rescue Squad for many years. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Rose Skogman, and one granddaughter Casey T. Ion. Jim is survived by his children James (Bernadine) Bartl Jr, Laura (Rob) Janicki, Edward (Julee) Bartl, one sister Shirley (Tom) Holsen, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Thursday March 19th 2015 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church of Gary New Duluth. Burial will be held at a later date.
