Obituary of Ronald F. Groff

Ronald F. Groff, age 77, of Edina, passed away March 16, 2015 from a brain tumor. Friend of Bill W. for 42 years. Preceded in death by brother, Robert, parents Dorothy and Ken Hall and Frank Groff. Survived by wife, Judith; daughters, Karla (Jeff) Tolzin and Krista (George Karypis) Groff; grandchildren Jackson Tolzin and Petros, Eleni, and Philippos Karypis. Ron worked in several different fields including elementary education, insurance sales and financial planning. His greatest joy was helping people suffering from addiction and mental health issues. Memorial Service 6 PM Monday, March 23 with visitation at 5 PM, with reception to follow at Cremation Society of MN Edina Chapel 7110 France Ave So Edina, MN 55435. 952-924-4100.
