Obituary of Elisabeth Louise Amarvi

Elisabeth Louise Amarvi, age 58, of Duluth passed over Monday, March 16, 2015. She was born March 17, 1956 in Duluth to Heinz and Betty Niebergall. Elisabeth graduated from UMD with a double major in Criminology and Sociology and was fortunate to work in those fields retiring from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office after 12 years of service. Being a nature lover Elisabeth spent most time outdoors accompanied by several rescue dogs. She looked forward to returning home, freedom from pain and being reunited with friends, family and animals who preceded her in death. Elisabeth was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; aunts and uncles. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia and Christine Niebergall; nephews, Ethan and Adrian and a niece, Clarice; her Aunt Clare; and many cousins. A heartfelt appreciation goes to her hospice nurses and the hospice volunteers who gave her such loving care. Also to Paul Watercott, Laurel Batson and her Aunt Clare, who remained steadfast in her struggle for life. Elisabeth requested no service to be held but to remember her in nature and animals large and small.
