Obituary of Barbara Jean Nepper

Nepper, Barbara Jean 1949-2015 Barb was born in Grand Forks, ND and grew up in Thief River Falls, MN and lived most of her life in the Minneapolis area. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Ruth Nepper; husband John McLaughlin; nephew Chad Kelly and her precious cat Macky. Barb is survived by her son Colin (MJ) McLaughlin and five siblings; Gayle (Allan) Brus; Tom (Roxi) Nepper; Sally (Rick) Erickson; Kathy Nepper and Lisa (Brad) Berg as well as many nieces and nephews who adored their Auntie Barbie. Barb's career started in Nursing and continued in the medical industry until her retirement. She was an avid gardener with a passionate and creative spirit. She had a gift for bringing people together in her warm and welcoming home. Her generosity will be missed by all. Services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, 420 So. Cedar Lake Road, Minneapolis, MN. Receiving begins at 10 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Simpson Housing Services, 2740 1st Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55408.
