Obituary of Michael J. Peck

Michael J. Peck 38, passed away Monday March 23, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer at home with his family by his side. Michael was born on Dec. 31, 1976 in Sherman Texas to Jerome and Maryann Peck. Mike graduated from Superior High School in 1995 and continued on to earn his Bachelors degree in Accounting from UMD. He was the accountant for the majority of his 15 years at Fond-Du-Luth Casino. In 2011, Mike married his high school sweetheart, Amanda. In 2013, their precious son Carson was born. Mike loved karaoke, camping, fishing and just being with family and friends. Mike always had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh and smile. Mike was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lillian and Bruno Krupinski and paternal grandparents Vern and Ruth Peck. Mike is survived by his wife Amanda; son Carson; his parents; sister Michelle (Mark) Pauna and nephew Mason. The family would like to thank the medical team at Essentia Health for Michaels wonderful care. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 5 p.m. Tuesday March 31, 2015 in Pilgrim Lutheran Church 820 Belknap St. Superior. Reverend Will Mowchan will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
