Obituary of Linda Kay Dahlberg
Linda Kay Dahlberg, 64, passed away peacefully March 27, 2015, in Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth following a long illness.
Linda was born March 19, 1951, in Moose Lake, to Arthur and Gladys Nelson of Bruno. She attended elementary school in Bruno and graduated from Willow River High School. She drove school bus for several school districts and was also a volunteer firefighter.
Following her marriage to Gus Dahlberg, they relocated to Solon Springs, and she was most recently living in Sandstone. She loved to travel with Gus and enjoyed several winters in Branson, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jason J. Chester; her parents; her husband; and sister Sharon.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Kevin) Chester-Wormuth; daughter-in-law Tiffany Chester; grandchildren Adler, Adell, Martina, Jayce, Camille, Miranda and Cade; brothers LeRoy (Ginger) Nelson and David Nelson; sister Bonnie (Bob) Tietz; step-mother Joy Nelson; step-sisters Colleen and Donna; step-brothers Doug, Colin and Brian; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, "Sugar."
A GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 10 until the 11 a.m. celebration of life Tuesday, March 31, in Church of Victory in Askov with Pastor Marlon Degerstorn officiating.
A private interment to be held at a later date.
