Obituary of Thomas G. Sheetz

Sheetz, Thomas G. Age 81, of Prior Lake, formerly of Mpls., passed away April 7, 2015. Born in Decorah, IA to Glen and Florence Sheetz. Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Moved to Mpls. with his wife, Carolyn and family in 1963. Employee of Typecrafters and the St. Paul Pioneer Press, retiring in 1997. Member of Visitation Catholic Church, Mpls. and Richfield VFW Post 5555. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Raymond and Robert (Bernice); former wife, Carolyn. Survived by children, Mark (Lisa), Kevin (Julie), Jim (Shelly), Jeff (Ann) and Ann Marie (Steven) Coulter; grandchildren, Courtney, Jennifer (Bryan), Michael, Ryan, Andrew, Autumn, Luke, Katie, Nina (Walker) and Matt; nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Memorial Mass 11 AM Fri., 4/17 at Church of St. Michael, 16311 Duluth Ave. SE, Prior Lake. Visitation 6-8 PM Thurs., 4/16 at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina (952-924-4100) and one hour prior to service at church. Private interment Fort Snelling. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Wounded Warrior Project or Sharing and Caring Hands.
