Obituary of Garland Ray Workman

“Bucky” Garland Ray Workman, 77 of Duluth, entered eternal life, peacefully at his home, Thursday, April 9, 2015, with his loving wife and family by his side. Bucky was born in Kentucky on May 23, 1937 to Lee and Mae Workman. He was a lifelong Iron Worker with Local 563 and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Bucky loved fishing, hunting and cabin life at Linwood Lake, with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ruth Lina Workman; sons, Curt (Donna), Wayne (Susan), and Gary; daughters, Ginger (Carl) Burt, Brenda Workman and Debbie (Jim) Gregory; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Hughes, Lucille Young, Joann Hall and Gale (Ken) Dixon; many other relatives and friends. Bucky will be missed dearly by all and may he rest in peace. Gathering of family and friends from 2pm until the 3pm memorial service Tuesday, April 14th at the Cremation society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., 218-624-5200
