Obituary of Jill K. Suomi

Jill K. Suomi, 60, formerly of Two Harbors passed away at her home in Duluth surrounded by her family Friday April 10 2015. She was born April 9, 1955 in Two Harbors to the late Herbert "Crunch" and June Olson. She married Michael Suomi May 10, 1975 in Two Harbors. She worked for Sunrise Nursing Home and gave over 20 years of faithful service. Jill's life evolved around her family also enjoying camping, traveling, cooking, sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; daughter, Jenna Blu; grandson, Noah Christian; sister, Jeanne Gage and mother-in-law, Claudia Suomi. Those who loved and shared her life are two sons, Cody (Amy), Casey (Chris); grandchildren, Shawna, Isaiha, Janie, Ryan, Tristin, Lucie, Sage. Brother John (Deb) Gage; two sisters, Julie (Steve) Heard, Joni (Todd) Thomas; many nieces and nephews and good family friend Tina Schultz. Per Jill's request a private family service will be held at a later date.
